Full Dentures, Partials + Snap-In Dentures
Full Dentures
A full denture replaces every tooth on the upper or lower arch, custom-made to fit your gums. If teeth have to come out first, the gums need time to heal, and an early denture may need a reline once they do.
Partial Dentures
A partial fills the gaps when you still have some healthy teeth, clipping onto them with small clasps. You take it out to clean it, and it keeps your remaining teeth from drifting into the empty spaces.
Snap-In Dentures on Implants
A few implants placed by an oral surgeon can anchor a denture that snaps into place. Dr. Bailey plans the case with the surgeon and makes the denture that fits the implants.
Denture Repairs + Relines in 24 to 48 Hours
A cracked denture or a broken clasp on a partial usually comes back to you within 2 days, depending on the material. Skip the household glue and drugstore repair kits, which can warp a denture or throw off its fit for good.
Your gums and jawbone slowly change shape, so a denture that fit well years ago can start to slip or rub. A reline reshapes the inside of the denture to match your mouth as it is now. Relines follow the same quick turnaround.
Restorative Crowns + Bridges
A crown caps a tooth that’s cracked, heavily filled, or worn down, so you can keep chewing on it. A bridge fills the gap from a missing tooth by anchoring a replacement to crowns on the teeth beside it, with no surgery involved. Most crowns and bridges last around 15 years, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
