How We Built This Site for Access
- Clear page structure, with headings and landmarks that screen readers can follow
- Text descriptions for meaningful images
- Text and button colors checked for contrast
- Menus, links, and forms that work with a keyboard alone
- Form fields with visible labels and plain error messages
- Text that can be enlarged up to 200% without breaking the layout
We test the site with automated tools and by hand before launch and after major updates.
Known Limitations
A few parts of this site come from outside services we don’t control. The map on our pages is provided by Google, so our street address and a directions link also appear in plain text. Online bill payment happens on our payment processor’s website. The downloadable PDFs of our data security notice and our Notice of Privacy Practices repeat text that’s also published in full on those pages.
